No. As a LEI is a unique identifier issued for the life of an entity, it is only once the entity is wound up and its registration authority ID (e.g. ABN or ACN or ARSN) has been cancelled or deregistered then you can request to retire the LEI by emailing our team at lei@apir.com.au
If your LEI is no longer required, you may choose not to renew it, and it will automatically transition to a Lapsed/Policy Non-Conforming status after the next renewal due date.
