Yes. If your entity does not have a registration authority ID (e.g. ACN, ABN or ARSN), you may still complete the LEI registration form by selecting “Other” and “Other” as the entity type. When prompted for a registration number, enter 10 zeros in the field and hit Search. This will allow you to proceed with the registration.
You must also email supporting evidence of the entity to lei@apir.com.au, quoting your request reference number, to ensure smooth processing of the LEI application.
Please note: Registering an LEI without a registration authority ID results in the LEI being issued at the lowest corroboration level (ESO – Entity Supplied Only). This may restrict its acceptance for trading in certain jurisdictions. You should confirm with your local broker whether this could impact your trading activities.
